Hello Rory! just looked through your fine Art Gallery, you have really wonderful and very personal artworks there. This one is an example of what I love so much.Very fine and sensitive drawing lines, great expressions in the faces and body attitudes. The result is very striking.

Thank you Michel....that is truly a compliment to be treasured! To "fast": meaning in a literal sense not to eat. In a broader sense it means to abstain from something, or go without. This was from a rather intense dream I had many years ago and I am not really sure if I comprehend it completely even now. I heard the words very clearly in the dream and the images were very vivid. I was left with the impression that the message had to do with the suffering of those that lived with hunger, poverty, and discrimination. I believe they were asking if they must not only go without food, but did they then have to suffer the burden of the darker aspects of humanity as well? It was almost like saying "c'mon...enough is enough."
