This photograph was taken this morning, January 13, 2013....an amazing winter dawn in the Pacific Northwest. I woke up early and after peeking through the window blinds, literally threw a coat over my nightgown, leapt into my boots, grabbed my camera, stuffed extra batteries in my pocket and RAN out the door. I normally walk up our narrow gravel road, but knew that if I didn't hurry, the gorgeous coral would be gone, so drove my car up the private gravel drive, head sticking out the driver's side window to see....because the windshield was iced over...guffaw!
