What a lovely comment...thank you so much Joy! Actually foxglove can appear in a multitude of colors...all the way from white to pink to this gorgeous purple that was growing near my home. I love the way the little buds form along the stalk as well...an interesting plant to be sure. See my "Discussing When To Bloom" for another perspective of this amazing bit of flora!

So this is what a foxglove looks like! Pardon me for being medical, but I always knew the heart medication digitalis was made from foxglove...but I never knew how beautiful the plant was! Just look at those gorgeous shades of purple! And I love the showy inside leopard print! Gorgeous! f/v
