When I saw this photo of my hero, I had to obtain it because as you can see in the photo, I have Babe Ruth when he was young & strong initially with the Yankees. I want to truly thank the artist for his photo!

I'm in complete awe of how these little ones maneuver...so quickly, with what appears to be such an effortless grace. In contemplating their miraculous sense of balance, I find myself a bit envious as it seems so difficult at times for we humans to practice that kind of balance in our daily lives. Colleen, that is a really wonderful thing to say...and I appreciate it greatly. I never tire of watching and photographing these little ones, in part because it is a challenge to do them justice when they move so quickly! I am now working on learning to use the video function on my camera to film them.....and the supposedly great auto-focus feature does not seem able to keep up with them! Part of the joy of this work...always more to learn!
